A History of Recent Catastrophic Fires in Southeast Australia.

1939       Black Friday
1968       Fires in Blue Mountains, so severe  that all day no communication .  I was in Sydney doing exam.  Next day I travelled up to Blaxland and it all looked like Mars.  Glenbrook Gorge was burnt and black.
2001       Black Christmas,  all over NSW.   Sun Valley Blue Mountains.  Fire in Erskine Ck jumped over Nepean River!
2003       Canberra Firestorm.  Mt Stromlo Observatory was burnt down.
2008       Black Saturday.  Victoria in February.
2009       Kinglake.  Victoria.
2013       Blue Mountains  October
2019       Blue Mountains 20% of world Heritage forest is gone, more might go.  Fire is all over east coast.  Burning rings of Fire!20/12/2019.  Another Black Christmas……..
oh dear  Heaven please help us.
