Katoomba, Blue Mountains NSW. 14/12/2019

  Fire to the South of Katoomba.   Ruined castle in the Valley - they are backburning to try to limit fire going into Megalong Valley,  It looks terrible, but locals are grateful to Rural Fire Service volunteers.

2, 3, 4, 5, Scenes to north, travelling in train with dirty window.   At Mt Tomah the backburning failed when wind changed and fire got away!  Gospers Mountain megafire is behind it.

this heartbreaking story is still unfolding, all over Oz,.  It is as if a significant sacrifice is being made of Australia.   And California too....... I am safe, for now, but nowhere is really safe anywhere......

I am so nervous, trembling, but ok.  Lots going on, lots to do.  Stay safe everyone.  Take care, World.
